About Terapac
TERAPAC commenced operations in June 2022 and has recently established a head office based in Darwin, Northern Territory. We are a project management and construction management consultancy focussing on supporting businesses and organisations deliver projects in Northern Australia.
What makes TERAPAC unique from the majority of project management consultancies operating in Northern Australia is its capacity to deliver highly technical multi-disciplined engineering projects from front-end prefeasibility studies to detailed design resulting in efficient execution. We work with clients in civil, mining and minerals processing, mechanical plant and pipeline construction, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, chemical processing and power systems.
Richard Parry – Managing Director and Project Manager – is a Darwin born and raised local with a real appreciation for both the Territory conditions and the relationships built with the people that live and work within it. Richard has 12+ years’ experience spanning minerals processing, mining, civil construction and power systems from Darwin to Nhulunbuy, Groote Eylandt and Papua New Guinea.
Every project will have a unique set of challenges and requirements so services and deliverables will be customised according to client expectations. Typical deliverables and project support services include development of project delivery plans, project schedules, estimates, project scope documents, client requirements and specifications, maintenance of RFI registers, facilitating stakeholder group interactions and driving outcomes via action register tracking tools, detailed scope of works for construction, risk management, cost tracking, progress reporting and quality management. Rapid engagement for immediate support can be completed on time-cost basis, however for a more structured and controlled approach for a discreet deliverables list and a detailed scope, work can be performed under fixed-price or cost-plus arrangements. How we Work
Works are completed on a SoR basis and timesheets are submitted with a weekly summary to the client to review and challenge if necessary. Active and regular communication and sufficiently detailed and accurate time sheets are maintained. Cost tracking sheets for each PO/contract are maintained to track the monthly claims against available funding which is provided to the client upon invoice submission. Forecasted costs can be provided based on the schedule and resource requirements upon request.

Part of this vision includes recruiting emerging local talent and providing practical and professional training in Project Management. As the organisation grows and scope increases, Terapac will be better positioned to recruit and train the most motivated and talented engineers and project managers. In the short term, Terapac will manage secondment personnel leave by step-up project manager coverage.
